Metal detecting finds.

A very peculiar jewish cross pendant.
This is a very strange yet wonderful find in my opinion. It depicts Christ himself hanging from the cross on which he died, Relatively modern in date, it is probably only a copper alloy in terms of the properties of the metal but nonetheless an interesting find. If anyone visiting this page and reading this right now could give an insight on it that would be very much appreciated.

My milled silver coin finds.
As you can see i have a reasonably small array of particularly exquisite silver coins in my collection. They all date from c.1663 (the first year of production for milled coinage) onwards. The first is a William III shilling with very little detail, the second a lovely little victorian sixpence found very recently and the rest are silvers from the reigns of two monarchs: George V and George VI.
Good luck and happy hunting,
Oliver.
